My style

I would say it is classic, simple, and timeless. Over the past few weeks, I have come to realize that women have forgotten that in every woman there is an inner beauty that needs to come out again. Especially women 40-plus.

And I am one of them.

The thing is we do some much for our families, that we have forgotten that we can dress up and look fabulous again. We only think of what the household needs instead of buying something nice for ourselves. We do not think twist to buy something for the household, but we will think 3-time harder to buy that nice dress.

And so is it also when it came to taking photos, we will rather take photos of our kids and pets than ourselves.

But we need to remember that we desire to be treated one every so often.

Scheduling

Plan your session a week or two ahead. I would be happy to work with you if the timing doesn’t work for you and problems arise. Feel free to contact me with any questions regarding the scheduling of your session.

Consultation

All 40 Plus session is tailored specifically to your needs and includes a consultation session. So, I will work closely with you to learn from your thoughts and expectations to ensure that we have a relaxed session. We will discuss ideas on style, colours, props, and wardrobe. I will also send you a guide on what not to wear.

Wardrobe

You can bring any number of outfits with you on the day of the shoot. This is where you bring that forgotten little black dress if you know what I mean. We will select two of the best outfits that fit the style and idea that was shared during the consultation session.

40 Plus session

Even if this is your first professional photography session, my goal is to ensure that you feel glamorous, and confident and walk away empowered after the session.

Your hair and make-up will be done by a professional after which we will start with the session to capture your beauty.

Throughout your session, I will guide you and pose you to capture your beauty and strength.

I love keeping things simple without overpowering them with props or unnatural posing.

Retouching

Your 40 Plus session includes professional retouching and editing. Although I focus on a natural look, l will edit them to fit the style as discussed. All my photos will be high-quality products, that you would just want to print and frame.

Printing

I have a preferred supplier which I use for printing. They offer exceptional quality work on paper and canvas prints. All printing is additional to the session cost.

Pricing

The 40 Plus session starts at R3000. The session includes the following:

Professional hair and make-up. Hair will take 45 minutes or more depending on the length of the hair and an hour for make-up.

2-hour in-studio photo session.

We will have a reveal session where, as a gift from me to you, you will get a 9up photo collection.

Photos can also be selected during the reveal that you would love to have printed.

Selected photos will be provided via an electronic platform.
